We Were There

The 9/11 Tribute Museum, an official partner of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, presents We Were There, a weekly public program featuring two 9/11 Tribute Museum volunteer guides sharing their compelling and poignant personal stories in the Memorial Museum auditorium.

This week, you’ll hear inspirational stories from family member Jim and family member Ray.

A 9/11 Tribute Museum moderator sets the historic context for each of the stories and connects them to artifacts and issues that the visitors may experience in the Memorial Museum, transforming history from something abstract and distant to something that is close to each listener’s experience. The program closes with an opportunity for the audience to discuss and reflect on the stories.
