My 9/11 Story with Bob

In January 2002 I started my recovery efforts with the FDNY. I would also be looking for my friend Eddie Day who died on September 11, 2001… My job was to search through the debris with grapplers, rakes, and shovels. There was a lot of dust in the air, it was in our eyes and mouth. There was no way of getting around it.
You’ll hear from Bob, a retired New York City Fire Department Lieutenant who was off duty on 9/11 but responded and worked the recovery with hundreds of his FDNY brothers, for this afternoon’s My 9/11 Story.
