The galleries of the 9/11 Tribute Museum will be expanded and will include a historical overview and timeline of the growth of Lower Manhattan, the events of 9/11, the immediate response and spontaneous acts of people helping people, a section on the recovery and rebuilding of New York City, a tribute to the victims, and opportunities to learn about the global outreach and service initiatives that came about after 9/11.
