In 2006 the 9/11 Tribute Center captured the history of the events of 9/11 from the perspective of family members, survivors, first responders, recovery workers and Lower Manhattan residents. The new Museum will expand to include focus on the long term emotional recovery and rebuilding and the humanitarian activism in response, as 9/11 foundations are continuing an inspirational legacy of the unity and service of America.
